Should Read Purple SensationReview by Barb Campbell - Grand Lake, NS Posted on 2012-07-09 11:23:37
I was quite disappointed that this was purple. I should have read the fine print :-(
DisappointedReview by Shelley - Auroira, ON Posted on 2012-07-17 21:01:23
I was also disappointed that these flowers were purple-- without even a suggestion of blue. Definitely not named correctly!
Surprised meReview by Linda Storm - Calgary, AB Posted on 2012-10-15 10:01:01
I am a beginner gardener and my neighbors were so impressed and I was surprised. The bag of bulbs came. I planted them and waited. Then these huge purple balls came up. They stayed passed every tulip and daffy and into July as an ornamental stem unit the wind took it away.
First up in the springReview by Linda Storm - Calgary, AB Posted on 2013-06-17 09:43:50
This grows very well in Calgary with a south view. Ours have come up three years in a row. I am surprised that not too many people know what they are.
AlliumsReview by Julia Elwell - Hampton, ON Posted on 2013-06-20 11:00:40
I have had these in my garden for 5 years now. Each Spring more blooms appear. I just love them and they are beautiful for cutting. Magnificent!! I am ordering more this year.
Persian Blue is more purple than blueReview by Gail Conlon - Ignace, ON Posted on 2013-07-01 18:29:08
These are gorgeous.
Very showy flowersReview by Martine VAUGIEN GADBOIS - Gatineau, QC Posted on 2013-07-06 15:45:36
True that they were not exactly blue, but rather more purple, those flowers were very nice and stayed quite a while, despite the colour was gone. They stand behind the tulips, because they were much higher.
Wonderful and unusualReview by Morrigan F. - Prairie, AB Posted on 2015-07-06 11:16:59
These were a lovely surprise - the tallest flower in my late spring bed, hovering over the hyacinths and tulips. Yes, a bit more towards the purple side than the blue, but a gorgeous, rich indigo colour, and the seedheads are a show in themselves. Very strong stems held up even under our wide-open prairie winds.
