So many advantages with this classic rose! Of course, being bred in Canada, it is super hardy, plus the early summer show of blooms is spectacular, with huge clusters of up to 30 blooms! And it blooms on both old and new wood, so you'll have sporadic rebloom the rest of the season. Its 8-10' canes are strong and stiff, so it can be used as a tall hedge, or trained up a trellis as a climber. This is a sturdy plant, so give it a sturdy support! It has superb disease resistance to black spot and mildew, and is so easy to take care of, it's almost self-sufficient; just give it a location with well-drained, fertile soil and water regularly when it's dry.
