All New Iris
This intriguing and
enchanting iris has frilly, 13 cm blooms with laced
edges that resemble tatting. Its saffron standards
have midribs tinted in the same violet-blue tone
that infuses the centre of the falls.
Irises are hardy and easy to grow, with attractive
foliage and spectacular flowers. The characteristic
bloom form—three upright petals (standards) sitting
atop three larger, outer sepals (falls)—makes it one
of world's most recognizable flowering plants. Here
