Graceful, hardy heirloom variety.
This heirloom, which has a long history of garden excellence, produces elegant little flowers that make it look more like an orchid than a glad. In the wild, the vivid cerise to magenta blooms paint a romantic picture, dotting sunny olive groves across the Mediterranean. It's surprisingly hardy, boasting strong stems that never need staking, and increasing yearly in size to create larger, more beautiful clumps. If preferred, Byzantinus Gladiolus divides easily, so its can be transplanted to borders or other garden locations.
