Great varieties for shadier areas.
Nodding, colourful flowers measuring 5 cm across open in clusters of 10–20. Light orange blooms have maroon speckles, dark orange anthers and sharply recurved petals. Sometimes called Henry's Lily. An Award of Garden Merit Winner.
These tall, showy flowers, which are native to eastern North America, look lovely in cottage gardens and in back of borders. Because Turk's cap lilies perform best in moist, well-drained soil, they are often grown near ponds or streams. They are also excellent naturalizers. Lilium
