Colour intensity varies during season
If you're looking for a dahlia with big, brilliant blooms to put on a spectacular show from midsummer until fall, then look no further. Lady Darlene produces massive, ball-shaped, 20–23 cm blooms of soft to medium yellow, with the colour intensity varying during the flowering season. The petals have red tips and midribs that give these flowers a fiery appearance. Besides looking hot in a sunny border, this variety is truly magnificent and long lived as a cut flower. Removing spent flower heads encourages more blooms and helps to present the plant more neatly.
