Plant these beneath trees, throughout a rock garden or in other shaded areas where you want colourful ground cover during fall and even into early winter. These drought-tolerant, deer-resistant varieties are dormant during the summer, prior to emerging in early autumn. The blend of pretty pink and white blooms appears just before or at the same time as the broad, heartshaped leaves. The showy, dark green leaves have a large, pink edge that outlines a "Christmas tree" pattern in the centre. As the plants mature, the pink colour changes to silvery green.Cyclamen mirabile
