Three seasons of colour and interest
It's hard to find a flowering ground cover that provides so much beauty, texture and flair than award-winning Rubrum Fairy Wings. Boasting delicate, carmine-red flowers with a highly unique form, it gives shady rock gardens, front borders and mixed containers a touch of bright springtime colour. But where this perennial really shine is in its three-season foliage. Changing hues with the seasons, leaves are bronze-pink in the spring, green in the summer and bronze in the fall. Growing 20-30 cm tall, Fairy Wings, also known as epimedium, makes an ideal ground cover in partly shaded sites.
