Soft yellow, globe-shaped flowers offer warm colour
Superbus Globeflower creates an impressive look when it bursts into bloom in late spring and early summer. The round, soft yellow flowers sit atop sturdy stems and wave above its clumped foliage. The showy, 5 cm blooms look lovely in the garden and in fresh floral bouquets. This easy-care globeflower can handle moist conditions, so it's a good perennial for planting near water gardens, at the edge or a stream or by a moist woodland. Superbus Globeflower is also impressive when planted en masse. To encourage a flush of new leaves to last through the summer, shear plants back after blooming. The clumps may be easily divided in fall or early spring. Deer and rabbits tend to avoid this plant.
