Richly hued and lower growing than others of its kind.
Nearly indestructible, globe thistles are drought tolerant and carefree. Veitch's Blue features the same easy habit and charming flower form of its taller cousins, only in a more manageable height and in a deeper shade of blue. Butterflies, bees and hummingbirds are big fans of the 4–5 cm globelike bloom heads! A wonderful addition to cutting gardens, the flowers can be enjoyed fresh or dried.Echinops ritro
