This regal and sophisticated variety features unforgettable, deep maroon single blooms that open a mere 4–6 weeks after planting. Several will emerge, opening on multiple stems that reach 35–45 cm in height. This makes the stalks a bit more compact than most amaryllis but sturdy enough to provide plenty of flower support. Force it indoors, and Vixen will deliver its floral gifts right around the holiday season, allowing relatives and other revelers to admire their beauty. With proper care, it can be forced each winter for many years. We recommend getting one to give and one to keep! Ships as a 26–28 cm bulb.

- PruningRemove spent flower stalk after blooming. Allow foliage to dry out before removing to allow energy to be stored in the bulb for next year's bloom.
