A perfect plant for borders, containers, naturalizing and more! Suitable for prairie planting, naturalizing and wildlife, this unique plant takes very little maintenance. Feathery, brush-like spikes form on the thin, wiry stems that arch above the lacy, green leaves below. The light carmine flower clusters have a unique look, giving the appearance of caterpillars perched on branches. Rabbit and insect pest resistant. Drought tolerant. Sanguisorba obtusa

No growthReview by Steve Connelly - Calgary, AB Posted on 2017-01-27 20:55:38
Bought this for 2016 summer. Small root and did not look viable upon arrival. Sure enough, it never showed signs of life. Experienced gardener here.
Disappointed with flowersReview by Daphne - GUELPH, ON Posted on 2018-01-10 12:15:51
The plant has been in two years and grows quite tall each year - the leaves are quite pretty but it only produces long pods that look like precursors to the flower but they never open so I don't get a fluffy caterpillar like flower. Don't know why.
