Plant enough bulbs for a showy display. For best appearance, plant bulbs in masses. Space bulbs in bed according to the size of the bulb. As a rule, large bulbs such as tulips and daffodils should be spaced 8 to 15 cm apart. Small bulbs such as crocus and snowdrops should be spaced 3 to 5 cm apart.
