Easy care and eye catching!
A perfect plant for borders, containers, naturalizing and more! Suitable for prairie planting, naturalizing and wildlife, this unique plant takes very little maintenance. Feathery, brush-like spikes form on the thin, wiry stems that arch above the lacy, green leaves below. The light carmine flower clusters have a unique look, giving the appearance of caterpillars perched on branches. Rabbit and insect pest resistant. Drought tolerant. Sanguisorba obtusa

No growth Review by Steve Connelly - Calgary, AB

Bought this for 2016 summer. Small root and did not look viable upon arrival. Sure enough, it never showed signs of life. Experienced gardener here.

Disappointed with flowers Review by Daphne - GUELPH, ON

The plant has been in two years and grows quite tall each year - the leaves are quite pretty but it only produces long pods that look like precursors to the flower but they never open so I don't get a fluffy caterpillar like flower. Don't know why.

Judy Cushman Review by Judy Cushman - Quesnel, BC

Planted this last summer in a part shade moist place. The foliage was spectacular with good spread but no flowers the first year. Not too concerned, hoping for flowers this year when plant more established.
