Persian Blue Allium

Planted these beauty in fall 2019 and my closest neigbour visited almost every day to enjoy these beauties. All 10 bulbs survived and had up to 2 stalks on some bulbs. I bought more for fall planting. Its a must have!

These alliums are not blue, as reviewed by others, but they are stunning, light purple, tall and straight. I am hoping to see bablies next year, or else I will buy more for the Back yard.

Wonderful and unusual

These were a lovely surprise - the tallest flower in my late spring bed, hovering over the hyacinths and tulips. Yes, a bit more towards the purple side than the blue, but a gorgeous, rich indigo colour, and the seedheads are a show in themselves. Very strong stems held up even under our wide-open prairie winds.

True that they were not exactly blue, but rather more purple, those flowers were very nice and stayed quite a while, despite the colour was gone. They stand behind the tulips, because they were much higher.

I am a beginner gardener and my neighbors were so impressed and I was surprised. The bag of bulbs came. I planted them and waited. Then these huge purple balls came up. They stayed passed every tulip and daffy and into July as an ornamental stem unit the wind took it away.
