One of only a few daffodils classified as a double split cup!
Get ready to field questions from neighbours and friends about this glamorous newcomer. Fire Drill is a lovely, fragrant variety with frosty white petals surrounding a split, pink cup that forms a kind of gaily ruffled rosette. Fire Drill is sunproof, so its colours stay vibrant all season long. Plant alongside traditional pink or white daffodils for a sophisticated and colourful springtime display. We like them in mixed borders, seasonal bulb gardens and in large groupings as a focal point planting. Naturalizes beautifully.
Temperatures affect daffodil colors. Warmer spring temperatures really bring out the pink or salmon-pink hues in pink daffodils, while cooler temperature bring out their orange tones.
