First developed back in 1948 in the Czech Republic, this amazing dahlia plant bears huge 20–25 cm blooms sure to turn heads. Layers of rich lilac-purple petals form fully double flower heads that stand tall on strong stems. Plant in groups to give an arresting look to summer borders. Like other dahlias, it keeps producing its gorgeous, extra-large blooms until the first frost of fall. Snip just a few stems to create luxuriant bouquets even professional florists would envy. Easy to grow and quite showy.
