When Patriot emerges in early spring, its deep green, heart-shaped leaves are boldly outlined in white, allowing this plant to lighten even the darkest corners of a landscape. By midsummer, sprays of soft lavender blooms appear, providing a different show of colour to their shaded settings. Chosen Hosta of the Year in 1997 and winner of the RHS Award of Garden Merit in 2012!
