Boldly coloured flowers and striped foliage
Cannas are treasured for their showy flowers—and Pretoria Canna delivers those plus striped, zebra-like foliage. Growing up to 185 cm tall, it boasts large, melon-orange flowers clustered along the top portion of its strong stems. Like other cannas, Pretoria blooms from midsummer to the first frost, and the flowers look impressive in floral displays. What makes this variety extra special, though, is its foliage, which provides months of interest. Prominent alternating bands of cream-yellow and green adorn the large leaves and create a breathtaking display. You'll definitely want to plant this tropical-looking plant where it can soak up the sun—and the admiration from your visitors.
