Soft pink flowers are a welcome touch at summer's end—and September Charm Anemone bears outstanding, showy blooms that are sure to delight garden visitors. The charming pink flowers have lighter edging and yellow stigmas, and are set against large, dark green, evergreen leaves. As the name implies, you'll enjoy these pretty pink flowers into fall. Also called windflowers, anemones are great additions to mid-border perennial gardens as well as cottage and woodland gardens. They're quite impressive when planted in groups and are good companions for hostas and astilbes. Native to central and southwestern China, anemones are easy to grow. Deer tend to pass them by.
