They bloom all summer long!
These pretty plants from South Africa are popular for their striking, bell-shaped flowers and gorgeous, deep green foliage. They open a bounty of fragrant, white and medium blue blooms throughout the summer, starting earlier than most types of agapanthus. Their clusters of long, narrow, grasslike leaves add further visual interest. Butterflies love their blooms, but peckish deer avoid them. Compact perennials add a longlasting, exotic look to gardens, beds and patio containers, and both make great cut flowers. Drought tolerant and easy to grow.
