Because it produces so many immense and vibrantly coloured fully double blooms, we believe there is no finer purple dahlia on the market than Thomas Edison. Its fantastic flowers reach 7–8" across and grow on stems up to 4' tall—and they keep coming, one after another, from midsummer until the first frost of fall! Plant them in large groups to make a bold statement in your landscape, or use them as cut flowers in arrangements and bouquets. The blooms will draw butterflies, but deer find them unappetizing.
