Flowers resemble miniature glads!
Native to South Africa, baboon flowers are so named because baboons in that nation dig up their corms for food. But here in North America, where deer and rabbits are more problematic in the garden, this dwarf plant is much less likely to be eaten because those animals tend to avoid it! Well suited for any garden or a container, Baboon Flower looks like a gladiolus but is somewhat smaller. This mix features a lovely, lively blend of blue, purple and pink blooms that release a freesia-like scent to draw butterflies to the landscape.
