Few, if any, plants are more versatile and beneficial than coneflowers. Magnus has vibrant rosy-pink petals that radiate out flat from a scarlet-red to bronze cone. White Swan's elegant ivory-white petals reflex down from a golden cone. The flowers, which reach 10–12 cm wide, open atop tall, stiff stems and attract all kinds of pollinators. The seeds of spent flower heads are a favourite food of goldfinches and other birds.
