Lush, fragrant blooms resemble huge roses!
Hybrid Itoh peonies are known for combining the colossal blooms of tree peonies and the handsome habit of herbaceous peonies, and Yankee Doodle Dandy is no exception. Its semi-double, rose-like flowers grow up to 15 cm in diameter and are a gorgeous rich pink. The blooms are accented with cream undertones that fade only slightly with age. Sturdy, upright to slightly arching stems produce 2–3 buds each. The pleasantly scented flowers open just above the dark green foliage, which lasts well into autumn. This hardy plant is disease and deer resistant.
